Dr Tan Kheng Lian, daughter of the late banker and philanthropist Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan, is the Chairman of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation. Twa Ee was one of two Singaporeans lauded in Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy List in 2016.

An eye surgeon in private practice, she graduated from the University of Malaya in 1958, and furthered her medical studies at the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Royal College of Surgeons of England and then, the Academy of Medicine at Singapore. 

She volunteers for charity eye-care missions in Asia.
Dr. Chew Beng Keng, practices at Chew Da Costa Pte Ltd in Orchard, Singapore. 

He completed his MBBS from University Of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 1958, obtained his MRCP (UK) from Royal Colleges Of Physicians Of Edinburgh, UK in 1961 and his FAMS (Int Med) from Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 1966.

With great passion he did much to champion golf in Singapore, and during his time has held various committee positions at various golf clubs including being elected as Captain of the prestigious Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) from 1972 - 1974 and later served as the SICC's President during the 1980's, was also on the Committee Orchid Country Club 1996, and Vice President of the Singapore Badminton Association in the early 1990's.  

Matthew Murray recollects how in 1979 Dr Chew Beng Keng saved his father then the SICC's Head Pro, Alan Murray's life after he had been involved in a car accident along Sime Road, by sending him to Gleneagles Hospital

Chew Gek Khim, a lawyer by training. She has been Chairman of The Straits Trading Company Limited since 24 April 2008, and is also Executive Chairman of the Tecity Group. She is Chairman of Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad and ARA Trust Management (Suntec) Limited, and sits on the Boards of ARA Asset Management Holdings Pte. Ltd. and Singapore Exchange Limited.

Khim, is a Member of the Board of Governors of S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies and sits on the NUS Board of Trustees, and was previously a Member of the SSO Council and Securities Industry Council of Singapore.  

She, graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1984. She was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite in 2010, the Singapore Businessman of the Year 2014 in 2015, and the Meritorious Service Medal at the National Day Awards in 2016.

Chew Gek Hiang, an accountant by training, has been with the Tecity Group, the parent company of The Straits Trading Company Limited, since 1991. As Executive Director and Head of Finance, she is actively involved in the investment activities of the Tecity Group and is responsible for its securities trading portfolio. She also oversees the human resource and administrative functions in the Tecity Group.

Currently serving on the Advisory Board of the Academy of Chinese Medicine, Singapore, Hiang is also a Council Member of Tan Chin Tuan Foundation in Singapore. She is also President of Noah’s Ark CARES (Companion Animal Rescue and Education Society), a non-profit animal welfare charity which champions responsible pet ownership and active sterilisation and microchipping of stray dogs and cats in Singapore.

After her graduation from the National University of Singapore in 1986, Hiang worked with Ernst & Whinney in Singapore for a year, she then joined Ernst & Young (London) in 1987 to pursue chartered accountancy, and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in October 1990.

Chew Kwee San (Chye), has been an Executive Director of the Tecity Group since 1996, and as a Council Member of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation in Singapore, Chye is involved in the Foundation's activities and has oversight of the evaluation of applications and the disbursements of donations. The Foundation provides charitable assistance to the aged, needy and sick.

Kwee San graduated with a LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham and was admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court in Singapore. He was also awarded the Public Service Medal in 2018.
